Jessica emphasizes the importance of creating a safe environment for each client. With the help of the individual/s sitting in front of her, Jessica will formulate customized techniques and therapeutic approaches that she believes will best help the individual/s reach their goals. Jessica will work to try to understand the clients behaviors and perceptions in an effort to bring awareness to the client regarding how they may be reacting and coping with current or past life experiences. In an effort to gain a deeper understanding about the clients presenting symptoms or presenting problem, Jessica will work interactively with the client to help promote growth and overall wellness.

Jessica is passionate about and dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal from painful experiences, identify bad habits, break unhealthy patterns of communication, better manage stress and anxiety, and recognize undesired coping mechanisms in order to create healthier relationships with themselves and with others.

Individual Therapy

Every individual seeks therapy under different circumstances and for different purposes. Whether you're looking to treat anxiety, depression, personal challenges, professional challenges, relationships struggles, or anything else, it is important that you feel safe in your therapeutic environment. This means that you feel comfortable enough to share with your therapist ideas or concerns you've been withholding from others. The importance of feeling safe enough to share this information in therapy is so that you along with your therapist can develop a better understanding of yourself through the exploration of past and childhood experiences, possible trauma, and emotional wounds. Every individual interacts with the world differently, and together I hope to help you identify the most efficient and effective way for you to cope, thrive, and interact with your outside world through the use of personalized therapeutic techniques.

Couples Therapy

Similar to individual therapy, each couples reason for coming to therapy is different. Whether it is to better your communication with your partner, work through divorce, pre marital counseling, marital counseling, or just to strengthen your relationship further, the personal challenges of each couple will be the focus of treatment. In addition to the purpose of treatment, communication skills and emotional connectedness of each couple will be discussed. In order to achieve lasting positive changes in each relationships, it is important to understand the life experiences and emotional wounds fears and trauma that each individual is bringing into their current relationship and how it may be contributing to the problem at hand.

Family Therapy

Family therapy can be a great way to safely address an issue between the entire family or just between a specific unit within the family. Challenges families often face include co-parenting, gender roles, generational differences, sibling rivalry, or parenting difficulties. Each member of the family may interpret the presenting problem very differently which is why it is important that the therapist work with each member of the family to make sure they feel heard and understood. This will better help the family, as well as the therapist, better understand how the behavior of each individual is contributing to the problem at hand as well as learning new ways about how they can contribute to the solution. It is important to me that each individual feels they have gained something from our sessions as well as that their needs as a unit is being addressed and met.
